I AM THE FACE Oct 15th Campaign

Kristin, Sarah and I have been working hard on launching this campaign. Sarah has been working on this website day and night for the past week and it is amazing! Thank you Sarah!  I hope you will join our efforts. We are so excited to unveil:

The goal of the I AM THE FACE campaign is quite simple: to spread awareness of pregnancy and infant loss, and raise money to support those affected by it.

2,000 women in the US alone lose a baby...every single day. Through the I AM THE FACE campaign, we want to raise $1 to support the women, the faces, that experience pregnancy/infant loss everyday: $2,000 for 2,000 faces.

But we need your help!

I AM THE FACE will only work if every one of you get involved in getting the message out. For this to really take off and become a movement, we need the support of as many of you as possible. There truly is strength in numbers, and if we all come together, our voices will be heard.

So how can you get involved?

Head over to IAMTHEFACE.ORG and click on the 'Join the Movement' page. There, you'll be able to:

• Upload your picture and your baby/babies name(s) to the site. Our goal is to have at least 2,000 faces up on the site by October 15th--what a powerful visual statement that will make!
• Be a part of the I AM THE FACE promotional video, by creating and uploading a simple 30-second video clip.
• Download an official I AM THE FACE facebook profile badge and twitter and facebook status updates to help get our message out. If 2,000 of us reach 200 facebook friends each, that's 400,000 people being reached!
• Make an easy $1 donation to help support one of the faces of pregnancy/infant loss, if you are able.

Then, start spreading the word! As we get closer to October 15th, ask your friends and family to make a $1 donation to I AM THE FACE in honor of your son(s)/daughter(s). Donations will be used to provide support and resources for families who have lost a baby.
