Summer Afternoon

Even though the summer days have been incredibly hot and humid around here, it is afternoons like these that heal my soul. There is nothing quite like watching my daughter practicing walking barefoot against the soft green grass, while daddy holds her hands. I'm so lucky to have her in my life and have learned never to take any day for granted.  So on these wondrous summer days, I look at her with even more love and admiration and know just how fortunate I am.
